The imaging equipment used at both Methodist and Children's Hospital is state of the art. We have recently completed installation of brand new Philips single plane and biplane Allura operating rooms at Methodist Hospital. Our CT scanner is capable of fluoroscopic imaging which allows precise targeting of very small lesions in real time. CT angiography and MR angiography are routinely performed and have largely replaced diagnostic angiography. We also have dedicated ultrasound equipment available at all times in the interventional suites to further improve patient care. We run the suites at somewhat less than 100% capacity which allows us to provide turnaround of generally less than 24 hours from the time a procedure is requested until it is completed.
